How to Track Someone’s Cell Phone with Just Their Number 2019

Do you think that your child is up to no good? Are you worried that they may be hanging out with the wrong crowd. In today’s Information Age, it can be very difficult to know what someone is up to unless they want to share this information with you. That’s because almost everything happens online. Your child probably spends more time online than they do talking to you and you have a right to worry.

As a parent therefore, it may be prudent to make sure that your child is not in any danger and you can use the same technology they use to keep you away from their affairs. Which brings us to this article’s topic; is it possible to track someone’s cell phone with just their number? In this article, we will show you that it is indeed possible and even share with you a few ways you can do that.

1. Send Spam Messages

One way you can track someone’s number is to send them a scam message. This is usually a black hat method but can often work when you need to access the device’s Google account and the information in it. The following are just some of the steps you would take if you were to send such as scam message to the target device;

Step 1: You would send an SMS to the target device asking them to verify their account by replying with the verification code you provide. In truth the code is a password reset code.

Step 2: You then send another text message with the unlock code.

Step 3: When the target person enters the code, their email address is forfeited and you can then log in to their account without being detected.

2. How to Stop Your Phone from Being Hacked

Phone hacking can be a serious problem precisely because most of us have a lot of information on our devices and it is very easy for the hacker to get sensitive information like emails, credit card data and even your location. But there are several steps that you can take to make sure that you are not hacked.
Basic phone security tips:

Ensure that you keep your phone with you at all times especially when you are in a public space.

It is also important that you use a strong passcode. Change the default passcode to something you will remember no one else can guess.

Avoid connecting to unprotected Bluetooth networks and turn off Bluetooth when you are not using it.

Also avoid storing credit card information and PIN numbers on your device. But if you must, use a protected app to store them.
Advanced ways to prevent phone hacking:

The following are just some of the advanced steps you can take to take further precaution against hacking;

Avoid using public WI-FI networks. Hackers target these to access your information.

Avoid using the autocomplete option available on most browsers. This is because it saves a lot of important data that can easily fall into the wrong hands.

Delete your browsing history, cache and cookies. This will reduce the amount of data that hackers can access.

Turn on “Find My iPhone.” This feature will help you to stay protected and locate the device if it ever goes missing.

Consider using a security app to keep the data on your device from prying eyes. Regular antivirus apps are ideal although go for the one that offers more protection.

What to Do When Your iPhone is Frozen 2019

What to Do When Your iPhone is Frozen 2019
Reset Your iPhone

There are three types of resets (normal restart, soft reset, and hard reset) you can use when your iPhone is frozen.
Normal Restart

Apple suggests that a normal restart (turning off iPhone and then turning it on again) should be your first effort to resolve the frozen iPhone problem.

Press the Wake/Sleep button of your iPhone and hold it until a slider appears.

Use the slider to turn off iPhone.

Once the device is completely turned off, press the Wake/Sleep button again and hold it for a few seconds until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

Soft Reset

Soft reset is considered a force restart of the device. You should use it if you cannot normally restart your iPhone when its frozen. Here are the steps to soft reset your iPhone:

Press the Wake/Sleep button as well as the Volume down button of your iPhone simultaneously and hold it for at least ten seconds.

When the Apple logo appears on the screen, release the buttons. Your iPhone will automatically restart.
Hard Reset

Hard reset erases all data of iPhone and restores the device to factory default. You may not be able to hard reset your iPhone if it is frozen. That’s why it is recommended that you hard reset it via iTunes.

Step 1. Use a compatible USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer. Then open iTunes.

Step 2. Select your iPhone in iTunes and navigate to Summary > Restore iPhone.

Step 3. You will be asked to create a backup. It is recommended that you create it because hard reset erases all data.

Step 4. After the backup is created, click the Restore button. Your iPhone will automatically restart once the restore process is complete.

Restore Via Recovery Mode

If your frozen iPhone cannot be detected in iTunes, then you should restore it via recovery mode. Follow these instructions:

Step 1. Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone to your computer.

Step 2. Now press and hold your iPhone Wake/Sleep button as well as the Volume down button simultaneously for a few seconds until iTunes logo appears. If you see the Apple logo, ignore it. You need to wait for the iTunes logo to appear.

Step 3. If everything goes right, you will see a pop-up in iTunes that will tell you that your iPhone is in recovery mode.

Step 4. Click the Restore button to start the restore process. iTunes will now download the latest firmware for your device and install it to your iPhone. Your iPhone will automatically restart once the restore process is complete.
If the App is Frozen

Sometimes iPhone appears to be frozen but it is actually the app that is frozen due to some reason. If that is the case, then you can easily solve the problem by force restarting the app. The method to do varies depending on the iPhone model.
Force Restart the App on iPhone 8 or Earlier

Press the Home button of your iPhone twice. The recently used apps will be displayed.

Now force close the app that is frozen by swiping up.

Once the app is closed, simply launch it again.
Force Restart the App on iPhone X

Swipe up from the Home screen of iPhone X and pause.

Now touch the icon of the app that is frozen and hold it.

Close the app by swiping up.

Launch the app again from Home screen.
